Planning

This stage starts off with a coffee and a sit down to discuss your goals and how best these can be achieved. At this point its all about building the framework that the project will sit in and grow. Budgets, timelines and important milestones will be sketched but more importantly we have the chance to get a feel for the project and from here we can start to formulate ideas and concepts.

Concepting

This is where we get our colouring pens out. It is an organic process of idea exploration and development but we never loose sight of the end goal. Brainstorming will throw up a whole variety of ideas, we then filter down until arrive at a solid final solution.

Designing

At this point I develop the chosen concept and evolve the ideas with everything from colour palettes to typographic choices. Its all about putting in that detail that gives the design its personality and creates a final polished product. We craft pixel perfect experiences so we take great care to get the design right and make sure that it measures up to the goals set out from the start.

Building / Developing

Meticulous execution of the agreed design is carried out so that its integrity and effectiveness remains. Be it a content managed website and content, I will apply the latest technologies to produce a cutting edge product that is accessible to all. Practices such as developing sites for the multi screen environment of today’s web is something that I have adopted on our own site.
